| What is AVIR? |
The Association of Vascular and Interventional Radiographers (AVIR) is the national organization of healthcare professionals working within Vascular and Interventional radiology and involved in standard of care issues, continuing education and related concerns.
The AVIR is dedicated to you and is a powerful advocate for the special interests and concerns of health care professionals working in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. We acknowledge the importance of continuing education, establishing high standards of practice and care, certifying Vascular and Interventional Radiographers, and establishing a nationwide network for obtaining information and/or employment opportunities.
Active: Radiographers with a primary focus in Vascular and Interventional Radiology who reside In the United States or Canada. Active members must be ARRT registered or Canadian equivalent. Please submit a copy of your ASRT and or ARRT card(s). Dues are $75 per year. Membership renewable annually each January.
Associate: Related healthcare professionals working with or having a special interest in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, including Nurses, Medical/Cardiovascular Technologists and Commercial Company Representatives. Dues are $65 per year. Membership renewable annually each January.
Student: Students in a certified program for Vascular and Interventional Radiographers. Dues are $45 per year. Membership renewable annually each January.
International: Health care professionals working with or having special interest in Vascular/Interventional Radiology and who reside outside of the United States and Canada. Dues are $85 per year. Membership renewable annually each January.
Membership Applications
Membership Applications may be submitted online at www.avir.org (coming soon), Faxed to 703-435-4390, e-mailed to the AVIR office membership@avir.org, or mailed to the AVIR Office at 12100 Sunset Hills Road, Suite 130, Reston, VA 20190.
Membership Cancellations
AVIR Membership cancellations must be submitted in writing and sent to membership@avir.org. Membership fees are non-refundable once payment is processed.
